My Journal

Inspiration - Boothbay Harbor, Maine

I don't know about you but I love finding inspiration in the most unexpected places.  The places you are visiting for other reasons.  The places you randomly stop on your way to another destination.  The places you sometimes don't look at the details because you are too busy.

Do you have a place you go for inspiration?  Or maybe solitude?  A place you connect with yourself?

I know myself.  I know if I find myself at a small town dock on the Atlantic Ocean in a small Maine village, I have found my place.  My own Heaven.  I swear these places are created just for me.  There are things that find us, that complete us, center and ground us.  I know I am not alone in my love for such magic, but in that moment...it feels it.

Any Henry David Thoreau fans?

Take a look at these three simple images and then the quotes to follow...I hope it makes you feel and connect.

It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.

Do what you love. Know your own bone; gnaw at it, bury it, unearth it, and gnaw it still.
— Henry David Thoreau
You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment.

Our religion is where our love is.

This is my religion.  Connection with myself, nature, Maine, and my clients.  I know these are three very simple images but I hope you found something to make you connect.
